Role: Content Executive

Location: Office – Manchester

 

Overview:

We are currently seeking a Content Executive to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Marketing you will work closely with our internal teams and SEO Agency to create compelling content for our website, app and blog, including product descriptions, articles, and other digital assets. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within fashion writing, and an understanding of SEO principles.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

● Create compelling blog articles on topics related to women’s fashion, key trends, styling tips, and industry news.

● Write engaging and SEO-friendly product descriptions for our website, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency.

● Write and upload informative and SEO optimised category page copy, including internal linking and styling suggestions.

● Support campaign launches by producing copy packs (including taglines, captions, and headlines) for use across CRM, social, and digital marketing.

● Manage and update content across our website and app using CMS tools.

● Collaborate with our SEO agency to execute content strategies that drive organic traffic and align with commercial goals.

● Use SEO tools (like SEMrush) to inform strategy across platforms such as TikTok, Pinterest, and Instagram, staying on top of seasonal keywords, trending searches, and pop culture moments.

● Monitor content performance using analytics tools to optimise future content.

● Research competitor activity to keep the brand one step ahead in the fashion content space.

● Stay up-to-date on content best practices, SEO trends, and algorithm changes.

● Assist in planning and maintaining content calendars for key campaigns and content drops.

● Mentor and support junior team members when needed.

 

Requirements:

● 2–3 years of content writing experience, ideally within the fashion industry or e-commerce.

● Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a flair for storytelling.

● Strong understanding of SEO principles, including keyword research, on-page optimisation, and internal linking.

● Confident using CMS platforms and SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Google Analytics, Search Console).

● Ability to generate fresh, creative content ideas and adapt tone of voice across different channels.

● Highly organised with strong time-management skills and attention to detail.

● Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

● A keen interest in fashion, digital trends, and online marketing.

● Proactive, collaborative, and unafraid to challenge the norm.
